Ana Alves Machado is a first-year communication major, with minors in journalism and broadcasting. Her goal with The Record this semester is to learn and have fun while doing what she’s most passionate about – journalism. In her free time, she loves music, reading and cooking, as well as starting hobbies she’ll never finish like crochet, embroidering, sewing and candle making.
