Mariela is an English and secondary education double major from the Elkhart area. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan and likes to read and write her own poetry and prose. She expects her role as an editor will help prepare her for her future as an English teacher. Working for The Record will also be an opportunity to learn about herself and others.
