‘Coach T’ resigns as women’s head soccer coach
After coaching the Goshen College women’s soccer team for nine years, Thavisith ‘Coach T’ Mounsithiraj announced last month his resignation. Mounsithiraj, who is also the guidance counselor at Northridge High School and has three children, felt that juggling all of these tasks was too great. “It takes a great deal of time to do a good job at all three,” said Mounsithiraj, “It’s important to give the athletes a good, full time, like they deserve.” Building lasting relationships and keeping up with studies were both important to Mounsithiraj. “It’s not always about winning and losing; it’s about relationships, discipleship,” he...

Leafs Can’t Get Rolling Against Bethel
Trying to end a four game skid–in which they have only managed to find the back of the net once–Goshen’s women’s soccer team hoped to get its offense rolling last night when they hosted the Pilots of Bethel College. The game ended however, in a 0-3 loss for the Leafs. The game started off fast, with the first goal coming in just the second minute. Unfortunately for the Leafs, the goal came from a Bethel cross that beat sophomore keeper Lynn Weaver and put Goshen down 1-0. Despite this early goal, Goshen continued to look for an equalizer in what...

Twenty yards away from the goal
