Awards
In 2021, The Record was named “Newspaper of the Year” for the fourth consecutive time by the Indiana Collegiate Press Association (ICPA). This was also the fifth time in the last six years that the newspaper won the award. Students received awards for writing, photography, graphics and design. The Record’s 42 total awards (90 points) in 2021 reflect the work of more than 20 students across the spring and fall semesters in the calendar year. Taylor University finished in second place in the college division (34 points); Anderson University took third (25 points).
