The painting I made is based on the song “House of Spirits” by The Veils. It is one I discovered over a year ago that has continuously stuck with me since. There’s so much imagery that I attempted to apply in my art piece in order to give life to the song.
Even though I’ve never fully enjoyed abstract art, creating this painting opened my eyes to a different outlet that doesn’t particularly need to be “perfect.” I hope that comes across to others as it does for me.
