Goshen City residents can now find restaurants that feature authentic flavors that can take your tastebuds on an adventure. Here is a list of restaurants in Goshen where you can find and enjoy food from around the world in the Spring.

 

 

Feeling the need for some Mexican heat?

 

         The city of Goshen is home to several Mexican restaurants, including the very popular Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. However, if you’re looking for more of a small, family-owned atmosphere, there are options such as Los Primos Restaurant and Taqueria San Jose on Madison Street. All of them serve authentic Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and horchata, the famous Mexican rice drink. All three of these restaurants have outstanding ratings on the internet and have pretty competitive prices—most dishes are under 10 dollars.

 

 

Discover your inner Italiano

 

         One can never go wrong with choosing some fulfilling Italian food, and Goshen has several Italian options. Venturi, which specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza, is located on Lincoln Avenue in Goshen. Venturi has many of their ingredients imported from Italy, which ensures great-tasting pizza and explains the wait time on weekends due to its popularity. Like a twist on Italian food? Tony’s Famous Grill offers just that. The family owned spot offers Italian-American dishes that include pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches. Lastly you can find a Samuel Mancino’s franchise in Goshen as well. You can enjoy Italian-style calzones and oven baked dishes such as their very popular twice-baked lasagna.

         Now there’s no need to settle between express Asian food and having to fly around the globe to enjoy some. In Goshen there are several Asian restaurants, some of which include an entertainment show along with your dinner. Kaizen Hibachi Grill and Sushi is a modern Japanese grill where you enjoy not only the hibachi style cuisine but also the very popular hibachi shows, which features the chef preparing your meal in front of you while doing some pretty cool tricks with the food. The restaurant also features a one-of-a-kind sushi bar that displays a wide selection of sushi rolls. Memories of China also offers Chinese cuisine to settle everyone’s cravings for orange chicken and chow mien.          Kelly Jae’s Cafe, located in the heart of downtown Goshen, is a bistro that serves Spanish tapas. You are sure to feel like you are in Barcelona enjoying a wide selection of fine wines and tapas, as Kelly Jae’s menu is complemented with a full bar of liquor, beer, and wine. One of the tapas available is a sesame-encrusted yellow fin tuna accompanied by a seaweed salad. Another popular dish is the pistachio-encrusted rack of lamb served over whipped potatoes, which are layered with caramelized onions and Gruyere cheese.

 

A mouthful of flavors

 

         Maple Indian Cuisine is the first Indian restaurant to open in Goshen. This restaurant is especially popular for its wide variety of vegetarian options on their menu, as many typical Indian dishes are meatless. They also have many selections that have chicken and lamb to satisfy meat eaters as well. Guests can enjoy more than a dozen types of Indian bread, including paratha, which is a pan-fried wheat flat bread and aloo naan, which is a bread made of sourdough stuffed with spiced mashed potatoes. Maple Indian Cuisine also offers an $8.99 buffet which is a great way to try many of the authentic bold Indian flavors. The buffet is available daily during lunch hours.

 

You’re tastebuds will not stop spinning with these delicious and exotic flavors from around the world . These are just some of the restaurants Goshen has to offer. This spring take a trip around the world with food. One does not even need to leave Goshen in order to have an enjoyable dining experience. Many people are not aware of the decedent food options in the maple city.
