Positive purple pep rally this Friday

A pep rally will take place this coming Friday, February 20 at 10:10 a.m. in the Church-Chapel building before the GC Board of Directors meeting. This pep rally is for the purpose of encouraging the board to change the hiring policy. Rally participants are encouraged to wear purple and join in creating an applause tunnel leading the board members to the Kairos Cranes display. While the board members are walking through, students will be challenging and encouraging the board to change the hiring policy. Bring your cheers, posters, hope and positive attitude! All students, faculty and staff members are welcome to participate.

Habitat service project is next week!

There is just over a week left until the Habitat service project begins! Just because you have not signed up does not mean that you cannot volunteer.

The days planned for this project are Tuesday through Friday from 8 to 3 p.m. It would be great if students with cars could connect with those who do not and carpool.
The address is 2526 Peddler’s Village Road Goshen, IN 46526. Further questions can be sent to timothybb@goshen.edu.

Correction:

In the February 12 issue of the Record, the Perspectives story titled “How poetry found me: Annie Agutu” was written by Annie Agutu, not Chelsea Risser.
