I am a first generation college student, born to undocumented immigrants who give everything they can and more so that I can succeed. I can never thank my family, friends, and community enough for helping shape me into the man I am today. Viva Mexico. Y Viva La Raza. Being a Latino here in the United States is an incredible thing to be proud of. It means you are the result of unimaginable determination and sacrifice out of nothing but love. Flores
What began as a simple photography assignment became a picture with more depth and meaning that I hold deep. The flowers were center pieces to a very anticipated event in my sister’s life and I got to be part of that special moment. The flowers were hand built by my younger sister and placed on every table as a centerpiece. Each rose, leaf and stem were thoughtfully added to create a beautiful bouquet. This image is not just flowers, they are centerpieces to a celebration stuck in a moment of time.
