Cross country in a ‘golden age’
Goshen College’s men’s and women’s cross country teams are losing a total of eight seniors as the school year comes to a close. Track and field send runners to nationals
On Feb. 14 and 15, both women’s and men’s indoor track teams participated in the Crossroads League Championship. The women’s team finished in 10th place, while the men’s team tied for eighth place. Head Coach Rustin Nyce mentioned the numerous successes that the team found: Jaylah Leggett, a sophomore, and Sam Sofolahan, a first year, were two such standouts. “We had a lot of people run their personal best, or throw or jump their season or personal bests.
