The man who knows everyone
If you’ve ever stepped foot on Goshen College’s campus, chances are you’ve seen Kellam Venosky. Maybe it was at a Maple Leafs game, a concert or on a walk to the cafeteria. Wherever he is, Venosky is known to stop and say hello — because he probably already knows your name. Venosky, a senior admissions counselor, is a man of many titles and many friends. Leafy’s 2025: rolling out the purple carpet
Dash the black squirrel permanently smiled while posing and waving on a rolled out purple carpet. A Goshen College backdrop sat behind them as flashing cameras captured smiles and laughs at this year’s annual Leafys Award ceremony. Student-athletes, staff and GC athletic supporters gathered in the Umble Center on Sunday to celebrate overall GC athletic accomplishments and accept awards from the 2024-25 academic and athletic school year. Excellence rewarded
Goshen College held the annual LEAFYs Awards this past Sunday, honoring the athletic and academic achievements of student-athletes throughout the 2022-23 seasons. The emcee for the event was Vince Turner, a former sports journalist for the Elkhart Truth and a broadcaster for 13 years who covered play-by-play for both local high school teams and Notre Dame events. The LEAFYs featured many categories of recognition for athletes and teams across GC.
