Memories in a cookie tin
When I was young and would stumble upon a cookie tin while searching through drawers, I would pop the lid off, struggling, trembling, without patience as the lid would always feel as if it was sealed with glue. However, I knew it would all be worth it after getting my hands on the butter cookies it concealed. But to my disappointment, it would never have cookies. Instead, it was used as a container for needles, pins, and sewing supplies. I never understood the reason, until my present years I realized how resistant those containers would be! Training Nature
This piece’s grey tones represent the busyness of life in America. Everyone is in a rush to commute to work in grey cities and blocky offices.
