Java Junction is joining March Madness:

Java Junction will be offering upset specials during this week of March Madness. These unique deals will be active for only one hour after the final buzzer.

Come to Java for a free cup of coffee (hot or iced) after any upset in the round of 64.

Half-priced milkshakes will be available after any upset from round 32 until finals.

Correction:

In the March 12 issue of the Record, the news article “The Globe crew goes to New York,” stated that the Globe was named the best college radio station among institutions with less than 10,000 people. In actuality, while the Globe was nominated for this award, it did not win.

Sister Care Workshop: This weekend!

Two guests, Carolyn Heggen and Rhonda Keener, will be presenting. Both women are a part of the Sister Care organization. There will also be home-cooked food, provided by local churches.

The workshop will be held on March 20 from 7-9 p.m. and March 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To register, just join the event on the Facebook page. For any further information or questions, contact Maggie Weaver or Beth Martin Birky.
