Commemoration to a certain house on campus.

A tribute to the house that saw me be a man of the fresh.

A house of light.

Box of the hot underneath the stairs (IYKYK).

Too lucky — we didn’t know.

The light wouldn’t house us no more,

And with it, taking our college memories.

1633 S.o M.any St.reets that light like you,

Gosh … INeed you.

I may have said it 4, 6 — no maybe 5

or 2 to 8 times, but

If you ask me, I don’t regret you.

If anything, I yearn for you.

Thank you, Lighthouse <3

Thank you, care plans, for teaching me that “ineffective coping” isn’t just a nursing diagnosis — it’s also how I feel at 3 a.m. before an exam.

Thank you, coffee, for attending every lecture with me and not judging my life choices.

Thank you, Romero fire alarm, for reminding me that cooking is hard for some people.

Thank you, campus basements, for being some of the scariest places I’m forced to shelter when it storms. Thanks, in particular, to the East Hall basement, where a ghost lives in the washing machine, and the Howell House basement, where our many mice (Dickson, Balls, Kevin L., Kevin K., Banana, Bread and Peter) likely made their home.
