This Friday and Saturday, Anna Pasquarello and friends will be hosting an Hour After entitled “Parsley Pants and Pom-Pom Socks.” Unlike the past couple Hour Afters, this one will be a more traditional Hour After with mostly acoustic-style music.

“I chose selections from some of my current favorite female vocalists such as K.T. Tunstall, Corrine Bailey Rae and Lisa Hannigan,” said Pasquarello. “I’m also doing a couple songs from JRL, a musician who used to perform in Goshen. As a fellow musician, the things he talked about in his music meant a lot to me. I wanted to bring him back to the stage in a different way and have a way of making his music my own.”

The event will be a sit-down performance with semi-formal attire. Everyone is invited to come—with a date or for a night out with friends.

“It was fun putting the music together because I chose some unconventional and unusual instrumentation for some of the pieces, such as putting violin and cello on songs that are upbeat,” said Pasquarello.

Students can arrive at Newcomer 19 at 10 p.m. for desert. The show is scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m. Those who did not purchase a ticket at the ticket sale can pick one up at the Student Life Office or buy a ticket at the door of the show. As always, those with GEEK cards get in free.
