Here’s your guide to all of the upcoming virtual arts events this week:

Sunday, Sept. 27

7:30 p.m. | The Sherer Trio, featuring Matthew Hill, professor of music; Solomia Soroka, professor of music; and adjunct professor of cello, David Machavariani.

Their program:

Johannes Brahms: Piano Trio in C Minor, Op. 101 

Dimitri Shostakovich: Piano Trio in E Minor, Op. 67 

Friday, Oct. 2

8 p.m. | Peace Plays, Pandemic: A Virtual Theater Experience

Two former peace play winners will be revisited: “Here to Serve You” by Barbara Lindsay, which won in 2008, and “After the First Death” by Richard Stayton, the 1984 winner. 

“Here to Serve You”  is a comedy which takes place over the course of a single day in an airport and follows one over-eager security officer sewing unintentional chaos throughout the terminal.

“After the First Death” is a short, poetic and painful “bunker” play, set in a world that has recently gone through a nuclear war. 

Saturday, Oct. 3

5 p.m. | Virtual Art Exhibit and Artist Talk

Zoom session with retired art faculty, John Blosser, featuring short videos from last year’s seniors talking about their experiences last spring.
