Q: What inspires you:
A: “I love low-budget fashion. Sometimes I boast about how cheap my outfit is. I’m really inspired by Indian ethnic clothes and at the same time I’m inspired by the whole office-wear look. I like to put things together. I like to mix styles, like preppy and biker; I take different parts of those styles and put them together. I love bright colors. I like taking really bright colors and trying to bring out the best in them. I like to surprise people with the things I choose to wear. I like things that are a little over the top.”
Q: Who inspires you:
A: “I think my mother inspires me a lot in the sense that she wears Indian jewelry with her western clothes.”
Q: What is style advice you give yourself to remain confident and branch out:
A: “It’s most important to dress in a way that is most flattering to your body.”
Q: What is your personal definition of style:
A: “Style is something that you should be able to express who you are through. It shouldn’t be something you should have to squeeze into or expose yourself for, it shouldn’t be a conforming factor in your life. Its the place where comfort meets classy.”
