Goshen faces a competitive match ahead as they take on No. 1 NCCAA ranked Cedarville University. The men’s soccer team goes into Friday night’s game with a two-win streak and an overall record of 2-3.

On Tuesday, the Leafs shut out Cornerstone University with a score of 2-0. Early scoring by juniors Alejandro Davalos and Daniel Martin in the first half helped the Leafs seal the win.

With two wins under their belt, the men hope to continue their winning streak, bringing their overall record to .500 in pursuit of a win over the Yellow Jackets. Cedarville is coming into the game with a 4-1 record. At least nine players have contributed to their 15 goals this season, making them a tough contender for the Leafs.

Come out and support the Leafs tomorrow night at 6 p.m. on Goshen’s home turf. Drums, bells and vuvuzelas are strongly encouraged.
