RA/ ML info night Feb 12

Res Life will soon be taking applications for three very important paid student leadership positions for 2015-2016:

Resident Assistant (RA) - Provide leadership in the Residence Halls

Ministry Leader (ML) - Nurture the spiritual lives of students

Campus Activities Council (CAC) - Plan & organize student activities.

An informational meeting will take place on Thursday, February 12 at 10 p.m. in AD28. Please plan to attend if you would like more information about these positions for next year. These are paid positions and wonderful opportunities to gain valuable leadership skills and enhance your resume. Talk to your residence life director or RA about these possibilities and let us know if you are interested.

Submit to Red Cents

Red Cents, Goshen's literary arts journal, is seeking submissions for this year's edition. Short fiction and non-fiction, poetry and artwork of any medium are all eligible for submission. Submissions are welcome from all students and faculty, regardless of major or discipline. Submit by February 14 to hjbrooks@goshen.edu!

Java Junction open till 2 a.m. on weekends:

Come satisfy all of your late-night cravings at Java Junction! Every Friday and Saturday evening, Java Junction hours will be extended until 2 a.m. Java will have a variety of midnight munchies available including assorted candy, soda and milkshakes to go along with the regular menu coffee and tea options. So, swing by the coffee shop during the evening hours. Whether you need a caffeine boost or are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, Java won’t disappoint.

Habitat for Humanity Spring Break Service Trip

This is an opportunity for any GC student who is interested in helping with the pre-building of a new home and shed for a potential new homeowner. This project will be completed during our spring break. Further details will be arriving soon.

Intramural indoor soccer sign-ups are now live!

Deadline to enter is Feb. 25 at noon! The season starts on March 5.

Intramural soccer will feature a men's league and a women's league. To enter a league, you must have between 6 and 12 players. For both leagues, there can be no more than four collegiate players (of any level) on each team, which includes anyone who has played JV or varsity soccer this past fall or plans to play next fall. Also included in the category of “collegiate players” are those who sat out due to an injury or served as an assistant coach last season. All roster players must be currently enrolled students at Goshen College or current faculty/staff. All teams are encouraged to wear color-coordinated shirts during games.
