Champions of Character Award

Goshen College earned the title of NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for the 2013-14 academic year. GC earned 81 out of 100 points on a scale that rates character training, conduct in competition, character recognition, academic focus and character promotion. GC has met these criteria every year the award as existed.

 

‘Menno’s Best’ Coffee

Goshen College created a coffee for youth groups to sell in order to raise funds to go the Mennonite Church USA Convention 2015.

The coffee is organic, direct-trade from small-scale farmers in Peru. The price, $12, will go to the youth groups, Mennonite Central Committee, Mennonite Mission Network and the cost of preparing and packaging the beans.

 

First-Generation

Janeth Vela, a sophomore nursing major, was recognized at the “Realizing the Dream” banquet for first-generation students on Nov. 1.
